Breast surgery

I had a text message from a friend recently asking me whether I thought she ought to head down to a clinic in London to get a mastopexy. I must admit that I was fairly sure that this was some sort of fertility treatment, and I had to have a quick google to find out exactly what it was. And I was entirely wrong. A mastopexy is a breast uplift treatment.
Now I’m definitely someone who thinks that everyone is suited to their shape and size, but the friend who was asking me for advice is much more concerned about her appearance. So as you can understand that it’s a difficult piece of advice to give – if the treatment is going to make her happier about herself then surely it is worth doing, but then if I think she looks just great the way she is, then I ought to say that too! So I did a little bit more research into what the treatment would involve, as I suspected that the practicality of the process hadn’t really been something she’d considered; if she was going to be very uncomfortable, perhaps this would be a swaying factor. In fact it seems that the discomfort would only last for a few days, and that scarring would be minimal. And on the positive side for her, I discovered that she would have an artistic meeting with her surgeon to discuss the size and shape of her ideal breasts! So I eventually came to the conclusion that, although I think she looks fab just as she is, it certainly wasn’t a terrible idea to go for a breast uplift in London.
